Mio says Hi!

Here is a picture of my messy cat! He is everywhere and wanna be as close to be as possible! Which can be really annoying when I'm trying to concentrate on what I'm doing (like right now, he is all over my computer!).

Mio says Hi!
This picture is some months old though.
It's his last owner that is holding him, a friend of mine that
some of you have heard of as Mr K. Or just K for short.
The ownership of Mio just transfered to me one month ago.

And OK, this topic was kinda random. But I just had to introduce you to my own monster Mio! So now you can really see him in your head when I tell you about his mischieves. He is always up to something. I have tried to catch him in action on photo when he breaks flower pots etc. Of course I do rather have it on picture than try to catch the pots when they are falling to the ground. I'm so clumsy so I would'nt catch anything anyway. Not even a photo I was able to catch!

I really have to begin to use my camera more! All the pictures in my blog are taken with my cellphone camera though. I just now noticed that my camera is much better than I had thought! As long as I don't try to catch Mio in action, because my camera really is awful when it comes to catching things that is in motion!

I'm off to work!

Soon, soon, soon.
I'm off to work really soon. I love to work, and I love my work place. I guess I'm somewhat a workaholic. It is just so much fun!

I work at a restaurant, Barbaros House, which servers al la carté, pizza and alcohol. I'm one of the waitresses but I also make some of the food. The restaurant is owned by a friend of mine too, which makes it even greater!

This is the bar were I work.
The counter at Barbaros House.
The picture was taken in December though,
I'll take new ones soon!

This is how it looked indoors in December. Really cozy!

While I wait for the clock to turn 4pm I'm unpacking the last boxes. My apartment is slowly beginning to look kinda cool for once. I won't show you any pictures of my apartment just yet though. It still looks kinda messy, hahaha.

Spring Walk

I have been ill for almost a whole week so I haven't had the energy to write anything until now.

Last weekend me and David went for a walk in my new home town. I just moved to this apartment out in the country side and I haven't explored all the areas around here yet.

We picked up my neighbours dog, Ronja, because we know she loves to go for long walks. That's something she rarely do because her owner is quite old. We begun to walk the usual way, but then I wanted to follow a small woodland path. Oh gash, it was stunning how beautiful it all was! There were a small stream bubbling with the waters of early spring right next to the path, there were flowers everywhere and we found an amazingly big stump from a really old tree which was crossing the stream.

Where I come from, up in snowland in north Sweden, the snow was still lying on the ground when these pictures were taken one week ago. The flowers may be on their way right now though, but it is still so amazing and new to me that there are no snow down here in south Sweden. Even in the winter snow is really rare over here! I also have to get used to not seeing any mountains, spruce or pine forests. Here everything is flat and no trees at all usually. Some deciduous forests here and there though.

It was stunning how beautiful it was in the forest. And I had great company!
Ronja and David, my awesome walk companions this lovely day!

We found this big tree stump! It was amazing!
Stunning how big that stump was! Too bad the tree was dead.
I would had loved to see it alive!

To sum it all up, it was a really lovely day! Great company, warm weather and the day just couldn't be much better than it already was! I look forward to more days like this one!

Sleepy Adventure

Yesterday I left my home town and headed back to south Sweden, back to my apartment and my messy cat Mio. My dad, grandpa and grandma went with me along with a big trailer. All my belongings was in the trailer. Man, I didn't even know I owned that much stuff!

I saw a Elk on my way to snowtown.
On my way to Snow Town in north I saw a Elk.
I was hoping I would see one more on the way to south Sweden. But no luck.
I shoted it with my mobile phone camera through the
car window, so sorry for the crappy picture!

In the capital city, Stockholm, we got stuck in a traffic jam. Not that I noticed anything 'cus I was sleeping like a baby. I woke up when the car suddenly stopped. A police patrol had pulled our car over and they wanted to see my grandpa's driving lisence and do a alcohol test. After that they wanted to weight the trailer because they suspected we had smuggled alcohol from Germany. Dad told them everything in the trailer were furniture etc and that I was moving my belongings to my new apartment. Then they just dropped the subject and told us the turn signal didn't work properly, and that there were no lights at all on the trailer. They ordered us to stop at a gas station to fix it up.

We continued to drive and a bit later we stopped at the gas station and drank coffee. After that I guess I fell asleep again. Nothing more fun happened during the journey south. Or maybe I just slept through all the fun, haha.

Anyway, the trip was exhausting! It took us 13hours to arrive! 10am-11pm.
We unpacked the trailer and fell asleep. Exhausted. And my cat was messy and woke us all up at 6am the next day.

We visited the restaurant where I work and drank some coffee. My boss showed my dad, grandma and grandpa around and then we left.
My dad and his parents were supposed to leave for their home in north Sweden after the restaurant visit, but then my grandma found out that she had forgotten her handbag with her wallet etc! We went back to the restaurant but my boss had already left for the grocery store to pick up ingredients for the restaurant, and I knew he wouldn't be back for at least a couple of hours. We went back to the restaurant anyway, and I found a open window quite high up. I'm such a monkey so I climbed up and jumped into the restaurant through the window. Found the handbag and climbed out.
Gash, I could make a career as a burglar. I felt all creepy and awkward breaking into my own work place, even if it was just to pick up my grandma's handbag.
I bet the neighbours will talk about a strange blonde girl climbing through the window in broad daylight!

Dad just called. They are home in snowtown now. I will go and smoke a cig in the evening spring sun. They are back where the snow still lies on the ground and I am far away where everything is green and the flower blossoms.

Some days like this one I really understand how far away I am.

Update!

Today I have been really creative - as you can see!
I added a few posts and finished the last html codes and added them to the Blog. Now it looks really fresh and it should be no problem for foreigners to read everything. Before I still had some swedish sentence leftovers in the comment section and in the menu.

I also added a music player with seven songs that are my favorites at the moment. And a visitor counter that also shows from what country the visitor came from. The last touch was when I added Twitter in the side menu. There you can read about what I'm doing right now when I sit at the computer.

Oh wells. Now I'm gonna reward myself with a mug hot cacao and a cig together with my lovely brother Donnie.
He also made a full makeover of his blog. Swedish readers should really check it out! It looks really FRESH and modern now!

Gamer Days

These last two days have been Gamer Days. The Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 was running warm for over 24hours with Gears of War 2, Super smash bros BRAWL, Crystal Quest, Wii Sports, Rock Band and Guitar hero 2 and 3. Add four crazy gamers to those things and it just can't get any better 'cept if we had remembered to buy some snacks before the stores closed up.

Gears of War 2 for Xbox 360.
This one became one of my favorite games quite fast. Much action and stunning graphics! I sucked, but who cares? We blew them all away and blood splashed all over the TV screen when we used the chainsaw weapon. I'm amazed!

Gears of War 2 for Xbox 360

Rock Band for Xbox 360.
I love Sing Star and Guitar Hero. So this one is far more greater than any of them. With combined mic, drums and guitars as controllers you are ready to rock!

My big favorite!Rock Band on screen

Super smash bros BRAWL for Nintendo Wii.
I have loved this game for years. Not quite brawl, but I loved this kind of game since the Super smash bros Melee came out for the Game Cube. This is the kinda game I can play over and over again. The most fun is ofcourse when you play it together with your friends, but this is one of the few multiplayer games that are really fun to solo play too with the story mode and all extras! I just wanna smash things again now!

Super smash bros will always be one of my favorites!

We played alot more games too, but these bacame (or already was) my favorites right now!

Do you have any games to recommend?
I have some golden ones that never leaves my heart, but I would love to add some more to the list.

Now I need some coffee. So I will see you all later!

Sleep Talk

I couldn't sleep. My mother and her husband will soon take off to Arlanda Airport in Stockholm. They will arrive in Lanzarote tomorrow around lunch time. Mmm, I'm so envious!

Fear my awesome Paint skills!

Fear my awesome Paint Skills! Sometimes I just dream away and Paint is the way to shot a picture of my dreams when no paper or pen are close enough. Who wouldn't love to watch the sunset at the sea in a warm comfy country? Now I feel like I wanna go swimming!
Summer have to hurry up here in Sweden!!

Frengers

Not Quite Friends, Not Quite Strangers is a Frenger. I may be a Frenger in your eyes. You problaby don't really know me, but because you read my blog you will get to know me and some things about my life anyway. So I won't really be a stranger in your eyes either.

You can call me Kamira, everyone does. I'm 20years old and live in Sweden. I choose to write in English so all of my friends around the world can read about everything that I have on my mind. I won't write much more about me here, you will get to know me anyway if you continue to read my blog.

Thank you!
It was my younger brother Donnie who inspired me to create a blog. I was watching him when he blogged and I thought of how easy it was for me to keep track of what was going on in his life and I found it intresting to read about his thoughts.
My brother showed me how to make a blog of my own, and how to use the tools and html. After about one hour I begun to understand how to manage the blog.

My brother also made almost the whole layout. Isn't it awesome?

I tried to make a background with my awesome paint skills. But Donnie didn't like my creation so I just got one from ABTA instead.
