Röstånga Stationhouse.
... I'm just so happy now! I GOT A NEW AWESOME JOB!
At an Irish Pub/Restaurant! I'm starting the 6th of November!
I'm slowly progressing forward.
BYE BYE OLD PEOPLE HOME! I loved the people over there, both the clients and co-workers. Just hated my bosses for driving me mad. I'm gonna annoy them a bit more before they get rid of me though. Sending me off to alot of educations just to find out I have found a new job... they would kill me if they could. Gonna turn in some papers that says I have finished some of their educations and also my salary report so I get my money.
I'm REALLY looking forward to start working together with John Ryan at his restaurant. I'm really happy and thankful that he gave me this chance. I will do my best and I'm so excited!
Bastards!
- AND IT IS SO DAMN UGLY NOW!!! What the fuck?!
I spent HOURS making that damn site and they destroyed the whole thing! I worked for free and for merits only. Fucking bastards. And they couldn't shut up and stressed me about that site like hell when I was making it. The whole layout is screwed up, but they still use my pictures.
Well, maybe they want a ugly site. It is also hard navigated now and doesn't work in all internet browsers. I made my site compatible with all browsers etc. They also use PDF, and not everyone have PDF readers on their computers. The new webmaster made a really nice guestbook though. But that's all. So sad.
Really ungrateful. Good luck and have fun. I won't help anymore anyway.
We are the stressed people!
A friend of mine will come and live at my place for awhile. He will come this Saturday. I have to wash the clothes and clean up the apartment before he comes. But I also have to work, so I'm kinda stressed now. Lucky my apartment is small so it isn't very much to clean.
I soon have to go to the old people home where I work now. I work with demented people this summer and I think I will quit working at the restaurant. If I get to choose I would like to stay at the old people home and not return to the restaurant actually. I just feel more comfortable working longer hours and my job is really intresting. I always learn new things every day. I have learned alot about medicine and I'm now allowed to give meds to all grannys and gramps over the whole house. There is alot to learn when working with demented people, so I still have some way to go. And that's what's makes it so intresting!
Now I have to prepare for work!
Heart attack!
"Excuse me! Who made this dish?!"
I stepped out of the kitchen, all frightened.
"It was me Sir"
He looked all gloomy but then he smiled.
"You made an excellent work! It's really tasty!"
Man, he really gave me an heart attack!

The restaurant where I work.
The best of today
At 10pm I heard a customer shout my name from their table. So I went over there and asked surprised;
"How do you know my name?"
And he said;
"You have to be a very important person. 'Cus everyone is calling on you. But if you have time... could you please give me another beer?"
I told him I was never too busy to serve someone a beer.
Advertise!
And here are some pictures of a usual day at work!

Wiping the tables, preparing the food,
trying to survive in the heat = drink much soda or mineral water,
managing the pay office and trying to not mix up orders.

Hadji's Pizza Buns and some paprika for different dishes.

Me in my waitress suit.
And gash what a busy day it was the day that picture was taken! I was totally exhausted!
Valborg
We lit bonfires and shot alot of fireworks. From the beginning they were thought to ward off evil spirits, trolls and witches. Today it is a festive day with alot of party and alcohol involved.
For me this was also a kinda special day. Not that I could enjoy this day as it should be enjoyed - with friends and family. No, I worked for 10hours. But I had so much fun it doesn't really matter. We are preparing to open up the outdoor café at the restaurant. It was really nice to work together in a team with the other employees.
Well, I did mention that I was a workaholic! Much fun anyway, and many people came to eat and drink today too!

My boss have made the whole place all by himself.
Here he stands behind the counter wiping some glasses I think.

Not nearly done with all the things on this picture.
So much more work left to get that final touch!
My boss made the tile floor when I was at my mom's place during easter!
He is so fast when he works, and it gets so awesome!

The clock is 1am. Ioannis, Nicklas, Hadji and me have finally
finnished to move fridges, alcohol and sodas and put them
to their rightful places!
Errm ok, I have to confess - the boys did almost all the work!
I just put the sodas into the fridge.
Even if I had been free today I couldn't had gone to a bonfire. It is fire warnings all over this area and anyone who lits a fire will be charged a pretty hugh amount of money. I remember that the last years have been cold and rainy on this day. Some years the snow hadn't even disappeard! But well, that is in north Sweden where I come from. 13hours from here.
It feels like I'm in another country sometimes. Especially when I turn on the radio and tune in the Danish channels. The scariest thing is that I can understand what they are saying now. I couldn't understand anything at all when I first moved down here in September. Even the Swedish language was so different I had a really hard time understanding what people were saying!
I'm free tomorrow. It will be a lazy day. And I hope it will be a sunny day too. The fire warnings are all over the TV and Radio, and it seems like it will continue like that. I actually hope so, 'cus that means alot of sunny days!
My neighbour will wake me up with coffee. It is a new tradition of ours that we invented the last couple of days. I will read Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth and sunbath some, and then I will take a walk with my neighbours dog Ronja. Tomorrow will be a lovely day!
